Olympic Champion Seeks To Book Return To Games In 10,000m By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor It's been a while since Mo Farah took to the track for a 10,000-meter race. But the two-time defending Olympic champion, now 38 years old, is taking a swing at another opportunity to compete in a global final. Saturday's Eurpean 10,000m Cup also serves as the British Olympic Trials in the event, which will be held in Birmingham. He has not run a 10,000 on the track in three years and he needs to run 27:28 to secure an Olympic Games qualifying time. Marc Scott and Sam Atkin, who both train in the U.S. and have obtained the Olympic standard, are also looking for spots on Team Great Britain. More news |
